My name is Donyne Lebid, I am an Account Representative at Coastal Community Credit Union - where I have worked for 10 years, after graduating from business school at Camosun College. I enjoy my career here very much, and am constantly looking to learn and further develop my professional self. I am married to Tony Lebid, owner of a local building company called Twelve Oaks Construction, and we have a 3 year old little boy named, Cameron. We both have lived in Campbell River for many years and plan on staying in this community.
My involvement with the community is usually affiliated with Coastal Community Credit Union. We take great pride in our community involvement, and all of our funds go back into our local communities at all times. We are sponsors of many events around town, and I spend many hours volunteering for said events throughout each year.
My husband and I would consider ourselves very social people. We enjoy dinner parties, social mixers for different local events, and going out for meals at our local establishments on a regular basis. We also really enjoy the outdoors. We are avid fishers, hikers, runners and hunters.
Whenever possible, I enjoy attending workshops to further my professional development. Until recently, I worked more than full time and felt as though I was unable to commit to further academic courses, as my time was very limited with my family. I now work part-time, and have much more time for all of the above things - including my now joining of YPCR.
I look forward to making new connections through my membership with YPCR. It's wonderful to be a part of an organization of like-minded individuals, and I love knowing I am building a network in my community.
