We are pleased to introduce you to Kyla Mullett, a  local photographer who just recently joined the YPCR.  You may have seen her snapping photos at our last couple of events.  We are thrilled to have her on board as our photographer!

Kyla was born in Cranbrook B.C and moved to Parksville when she was 3. In 2008 she moved to Courtenay to be with her boyfriend Richard (now husband) and had her two girls Ariana (5) and Hailey (3). In 2012 they moved to Campbell River after an investment property caught their eye and they've loved it ever since. On their one year wedding anniversary Richard bought Kyla her first DSLR camera and she's been in love with photography ever since.  Photgraphy was just a hobby for the first  year until she decided to quit her full time job and start up her own business -Evelyn Jane Photography and Discovery Home Tours.

Evelyn Jane Photography works with families, maternity, weddings and newborns.  She also offers real estate photography with interactive floor plans which are a hit with the local Realtors. Every month she photographs the front cover of Islands Best homes, a Campbell River Real Estate Newspaper  which she is extremely proud of. One day her goal is to win an award for her photography.

Kyla loves to spend time with her girls, riding bikes or doing crafts. She hopes to run more, have a bigger veggie garden, keep up with laundry, finish a few renovations on the house, and spend more time doing landscape photography. Some of Kyla's favourite things are Chai tea Latte's, pizza, her famous chocolate chip cookies, and apple pie with vanilla ice cream. She also loves her family and is so happy they are all so supportive of her.
